Recently, sun protection has moved to the top of my priority list, so I’ve been slowly building my wide-brim hat collection by investing in quality pieces that I will wear for years to come. I love the look of these hats, and the fact that they offer sun protection is a double win in my book! I wanted wool for Fall/Winter but definitely have my eye on some straw styles for the warmer months ahead. These are three brands I’ve discovered and can’t get enough of.

1. Janessa Leoné

I don’t think there is a single hat from this brand I don’t love, making it very hard to choose. Everything is so chic I genuinely don’t think you can go wrong with any style. I was between Korin and Lennon but ultimately decided on the Korin.

2. Gigi Pip

This company offers removable bands that you can purchase if you want to customize your hat. This customization feature is nice because it gives you the option to switch up your hat’s look, but I opted to keep mine solid (at least for now). I wanted a light color option and went with the Ty Upturned Brim in off white.

3. Van Palma

I have to say, I think this is my favorite of the three hats I got for cooler weather. This company is based in France and has a lot of unique options. It was love at first sight for me with Le Igor Clay. I was sold the second I saw the “L’art de Vivre” (translates to “the art of living”) embroidery. The rust color is even more beautiful in person, and I think it rounds out my wool hat collection nicely.
